Although each team had a chance to go ahead in the final minutes, neither team could manage to score. The game entered overtime. Captains of both teams gathered at midfield for the coin toss. Frank’s father then attended Penn State University, where he won three varsity letters and was named to Penn State’s all-decade team for the 1950s.
